Founder, Stronger in Motion.
I've been training clients and treating patients full time since 2011, in person and online. Young athletes, centenarians, and just about everyone in between.
But more importantly, I live this.
I herniated a disc in my low back in 2012. Surgery in 2014. Re-herniated it in 2018. In those same years I competed at the World Championship level in powerlifting, ran a half marathon and a handful of 10Ks, played men's league basketball, and right now I'm training for HYROX. Pain didn't take training away from me. It changed how I program. That's the whole course.
I've led more than 40 certification weekends and workshops, taught over 1,000 fitness and rehab pros, spoken at NSCA events, taught anatomy at the National Personal Training Institute of Arizona, and I'm currently Adjunct Faculty in AT Still University's DPT program, working in the Therapeutic Exercise Lab.
What I'm after is simple. I want to change how the public sees exercise, and that starts with fitness professionals understanding what their work is actually worth.
